These books contain lots of skills to
learn and activities to enjoy. Children can design, colour, write, make, investigate and do lots of other activities
including observation and working for their 5 alive Proficiency Awards for crossing the road (these include certificates
for crossing the road with an adult holding the hand of the child, and certificates for safely crossing the road on
their own).
Children can work for the Challenge and Incentive awards which can lead on to the Gold, Silver and Bronze awards. For the
proficiency awards and some other skills and activities the help of an adult is required.
Each book has at least 30 different activities/skills, and there are different wordsearches, colouring, surveys, posters
etc. to complete in every book. It is therefore not possible to show the huge variety of skills and activities
contained in these books and the activities shown are but a very small sample.
